New Boss around the place

Some updated photos of the Boy - Have decided to call him Amarok. He is a right character already and totally has his mum under the hoof lol. Had to get a vet call out yesterday, Whisper started having a very thick discharge, vet said he is confident it is most likely a slight irritation caused by something getting into the vulva during labour, no temperature and one dose of penicillin seems to have already made a big difference, no sign of it today however she gets another dose tomorrow and then if still a sign of any kind come Thursday she will be getting flushed. She is fine in herself other than since her jab yesterday she is avoiding letting me catch her the toad - she has always been the easiest of halter up out of all of my lot! Amrock8.jpg

They look like typical baby cream eyes to me.

They're both gorgeous. I love the picture of him stretched out while sleeping.

Thanks, yes I am not sure what 'baby cream' eyes mean but his eyes are very similar to his half brothers who have almost like a blue/grey ring around them and quite different to my other horses. Hard to see from this photo very well but you can see the ring in it. The other photo is his half brother as a foal cos he was just way too cute!

Baby cream means that his eyes are that blue/grey color due to carrying the cream gene and will darken as he ages. Most foals born with cream have blue/grey eyes.

Gotcha, thanks NdAppy. I am stoked that he seems to have his mums Ambling gait too so crossed all the boxes - lucky me!
