Wee Foal Pregnancy Test Kits:How To Collect That Liquid You Need :)

Hey,
I'm wondering if anyone uses the Wee Foal kits, and if so,how did you manage to collect the pee???
I am going to do a WeeFoal test on my mare as I'm having a few niggling doubts (or maybe I'm just being paranoid, hopefully!) about whether she is really in foal or not,and I can get the test done before I can get an appointment with the vet.(To anyone who'll say,"the vet needs to see her"and so on;don't worry, the horse is in no danger, she's being treated as if she is pregnant, this is just a quick way to settle some doubts in my own mind, and I will certainly make sure she sees the vet if anything suspicious surfaces).
My problem though is this: my mare is a very private about relieving herself! Like, you never catch her her peeing. So,any tricks on how to collect some horsey urine?

I would have no idea how to help you. My mare runs up to the gate to greet us, and is peeing before we even unlock the gate! No shame for Princess.

Do you have a sheet she can wear? There is a rig you can use with a blanket or sheet, a jug and some netting if so. There are actually several ideas online....just a matter of finding what works for you. Some have luck loading/unloading the mare on a trailer to trigger peeing. It's really a matter of knowing your horse and her triggers and habits. When we had a mini we wanted to test I just ended up spending an hour with her on a lead in the pasture and when she needed to go I was able to catch a sample. Our th would be easy because I know when we go to feed she runs into the barn to per in the fresh bedding....every time.

Unfortunately,I don't know her triggers as she doesn't like to go with people around, lol. She's definitely a shy pee-er. :) Seriously, even as a foal, she would go hide behind the shed or her mom before she would go! I'm trying a few of the ideas I've found online, but so far, nothing. Maybe the next thing I'll try is taping a sanitary pad to her bum..Won't she look silly then!
