What color Pattern is my yearling

I got this filly about 3 1/2 weeks ago just curious but what is she an overo? I keep getting told she is a pinto becouse of the siver running around her white and brown spots? Any ideas? I know she is a tri color check out the ticking around her hooves I like it and hope it doesn't fade out with age~ and she is a rescue! I didn't make her this way

Paint is a breed; Pinto is a color pattern and mostly referred to pleasure breeds instead of stock breeds.

The pattern your horse has is Tobiano, a bay tobiano. :)

Oh and the black marks around her hooves are 'ermine spots' they are a marking and probably wont fade. :)

I agree with the Bay Tobiano. There is no such thing as a tri-coloured paint. Its just sellers hype. Another example would be a rose-grey horse. Some people will believe its a rare colour and pay more but its just a chestnut turning grey. Still pretty, but doesn't last as they go fully grey.

She is bay tobiano, I love the spots around her hooves, it looks like she stepped in ink lol. She is very cute, love the little lightning strike on her face, congrats on rescuing her :)

Pinto is a term used for any colour pattern on any horse that is not a paint.

Nice filly - those black markings on her feet are not ticking, they are ermine spots and they will not fade, so that's good news!

Ticking is like a small section of white hairs that look like a little bit of roaning.
