    Actually, Paint & Pinto's both have breeding registries now. Most people think the difference between the 2 is the pattern but no. A Paint is a horse of Quarter Horse or Thoroughbred breeding (nothing else) whereas a Pinto is any other breed with patterned markings (such as arabs, ponies, drafts, other crosses...) which would most likely make your girl a Pinto (as she may not be pure qh or tb) bay tobiano.

    Yearling
    And the grayish markings between the bay and the white is called "Mapping". Its purdy.
