Im thinking about breeding my horse to this stud what do you think? Im thinking of breeding early next year. here is his pedigree Apmj Black Jack Arabian and here he is
APMJ Black Jack
1994 Homozygous Black Stallion
Shataan Ibn Arabi (Blacklord Arabi) x Hu Aroosah
Black Jack, or "Farley" as he's called around here, is a very athletic and well mannered stallion. He is very sensible and intelligent as well. He consistently passes on his athletic ability and wonderful mind to all his foals. We believe he would be an excellent cross onto a sport pony type mare or smaller warmblood mare for dressage or combined driving offspring.

Yeah I want to use the foal for breeding I have found a nicer stud but its the one I want to breed the foal because I am buying him and I only want my mare to have to more foals(one for breeding and one for showing) I want to breed her to the stud I am buying once and to another stud as well
If you want a stud prospect I suggest finding a much, much nicer stud. This guy is cute, but doesn't really look like an arab to me. He's not typey, he has a thick throatlatch, and his neck ties in very low making it look very thick. I'm also not too fond of his hind end, though I can't pinpoint what it is. He would be a much cuter gelding.
I actually had to read until I saw the SCID clear part before I knew he was an arab. Keep looking if you want a foal that's going to be a stud prospect.
If you want a stud whats your mares breeding? /there is no real interest in that kind of stud now when you can get niceIf your mare has no nice lines i personally woudnt breed for stud
Agree with all above , I dont think this stud will throw nice foals with your mare. You may get lucky but there is a huge chance the foal will have a short fat neck - as you mare has a short slightly upside down neck and the stud is very thick the whole way through his neck.
I do like him though.... He would make beautiful solid Anglo Arabians ( T-bred X Arabian) !
I think that is why they mention on his page " We believe he would be an excellent cross onto a sport pony type mare or smaller warmblood mare for dressage or combined driving offspring"
For you mare I would try to find a stud with an exceptional & long swan like neck, Along with good confirmation , you should get a winner.
Both mare and stallion have to complement each other for the best chance of getting a well conformed foal.
I agree with the others. I looked at the photos and I was like what breed is this horse??? I finally saw it was an arab. Imo, that stud would make a better gelding. Find something better especially since you want a high quality arab.
OKay thanks guys I have found a farm with fancy nice arab stallions that have won many national shows and international etc. but im still looking into them so watch for a post on them!!! thanks!!
