I am leaving both intact for as long as they behave. Gives them time to show me what they got. The pair get along great and I am able turn them out together. ( my other colt is 2 yr old in my avatar).
I do need to test this guy for HYPP - worse he can be is N/H so he is registerable - just have to decide if it is morally right to keep him stud if he is pos. He isn't sympthomatic if he is pos. Gotta get my ducks in a row and get papers in.
I am proud of both my guys and their manners. Both toe the line for me. If I can keep and stand both I would be able to cater to both performance and halter mares. Ahhhhh, decisions, decisions!
