What kind of overo?

So I'm trying to look up possibilities on the color calculator for foals but my boy is tovero. So which do I choose?

Tobiano/Sabino
Tobiano/Frame
Tobiano/Splash
Tobiano/frame/splash
Tobiano/frame/sabino
Tobiano/sabino/splash

He definitely has tobiano & splash. He COULD be hiding sabino and frame, but that's essentially impossible to tell without a test.

Tobiano & splash would be your only definite genes present and displaying physically.

Can you not choose all four? If you don't know what he has, you might as well choose all the possibilities.

If you're planning to breed him I'd strongly suggest you test him for frame. He looks like my sister's horse!

No, those are the only choices they give you :(

I'm sure he is hiding some frame since every foal he's had has come out frame lol. I plan on getting him tested eventually but right now he's only booked to solids and a splash so it hasn't really been necessary. The only frame he's being bred to is already tested so not worried there.

"the only frame he's being bred to"

Frame IS LWO. LWO IS frame.

And frame is NOT always obvious. Better to be tested than to be sorry.

The first guy on here is a tested frame

Apparently not I guess. I was always told that not all frames carried OLWS, however she is a tovero marked similarly to him so it wasn't positive if she carried frame or not. Either way she tested neg.

OLWS isn't a "genetic disease". It's a direct result of breeding frame overo to frame overo. So if she IS frame, and your boy isn't tested, you can get an OLWS foal.

Lethal white is nothing but frame in homozygous form. It's not technically a disease, it's a genetic mutation of breeding two heterozygous frames and getting a homozygous foal.
