Sabino? Or maybe a roan splash?

Always remember that feeling of looking at a big, open country over the ears of a good horse, seeing a new trail unwind ahead of you, and that ever-spectacular view from the top of the ridge!!! Follow my training blog: http://robertsontraining.blogspot.com/

Looks like splash + frame overo to me.

It says splash to me - possibly frame overo, but almost impossible to tell as the belly splotch could just be minimal splash.

The sharp edges on the leg markings and characteristic jaggedness tells me splash and not sabino.

Thanks! I looked a little more closely at the horses in my mare's pedigree and found that a LOT of them have very jagged leg markings. I'm going to assume that splash has been VERY well hidden for a VERY long time in this case.

I'm going to say splash or sabino, I don't see frame.

Okay, what do you think he is?

One of his eyes is half blue. He has three jagged leg markings, a bottom-heavy jagged facial marking, and lower lip white.

(BTW - sorry about the picture quality - I took them with my cell phone in a badly-lit barn)

Splash. :)
His facial markings remind me of a ridiculously mishandled horse I rode once named Phantom.

Thanks! I forgot to mention - he has a small (4 inches across) oval-shaped, slightly-jagged belly spot.
