woohoo.. my mare is visiting the stud....

So long story short... my mare is alone at home and we can't tell when her cycle is, and lucky use they stallion we fell in love with is less then 10miles away, soooooo, last night I loaded her up and we were going to just tease her every few nights till she came in.... well, all I can say is she's a very "active" girl and just made the price of mare care go down...the stud owner said she is one of the worst she has bred to....said she would be a great mare for a first time stallion to learn on..lol

So instead of teasing her she stated and getting bred, the only bad thing is we don't know what day she is on in her cycle so they are covering her everyday(normal for them is every other day) till she's done just in case she was at the end of her cycle.... so hope in a few weeks we will get a positive ultrasound..

That would be bandit.... he is such a sweetie, my 2y old loves him. We even took the daycare kids to the barn to see new baby's but all the kids loved bandit more..he was the only one trust worth that could be taken out of the stall with 10 little kids under age 6 wanting to pet him... he went up to each of them and lowered his head so they could pet and gave each one a kiss and then each kid sat on him for a pic to go home to there moms.... he's just a Sweet gentle guy, my 2y has even lead him around a bit(with us right there ready to grab if needed)..

As soon as jewels (scribbled jewel) comes home I will get pics..

She is a big 14y old bay, she is a breeding stock paint, her daddy was Scribbles, and I think he was pretty well know back in his day but he was in his 20's when my mare was born....

I'm really not good at all the pedigree stuff...

Lol.... fits in with my breeder, we are so close, she calls me each time before she breeds and asks if we want to go watch pony porn... she's a funny lady...

So I will work on getting pics of my mare this week end but will not take any pics of anything else ... lol...
