Hm. I don't know what his name was. Or if he is registered. It was a local mans horses.

What about the mare? I am highly, highly doubt it was frame if she was indeed an appaloosa. If she wasn't then it sure is a possibility.

My mare is a solid appaloosa. I have her papers. But I have no clue where they are. The studs grandfather was a frame overo paint. I think it came from some where down that line.

In order to have a lethal though, frame has to come from both parents.

There IS frame in Appaloosas. Someone recently discussed their LWO positive Appaloosa mare on the Appaloosa Project. Before you ask, no, I don't know the lines, but i'm pretty sure I still have the email. Frame in Apps was also discussed on the color forum.

And why shouldn't it be? ApHC allows JC and AQHA horses, both breeds that have frame.
