He may be pretty, but brindle is pretty much impossible to bred for. The genetics are unknown and may simply be cause by chimerism (this is when two non-identical twins fuse into one embryo in utero). Not to say he isn't a great horse, I this he is gorgeous.

I know (I love genetics) but I looked him up. He's nonchimeric. His mother was brindle and 8/14 babies have been brindle. Not to mention even if you didn't get a brindle, he's a fab jumper.
