AHA Members and Arab Bloodline Enthusiasts?

Hey all!

Curious if anyone knows anything/can provide any info or pictures relating to my late mare Paragon Casandra. I do not have her papers with me, but do know she is by Sheikh El Hafiz, out of Paragon Dazl. I believe she was bred in California and may have even foaled a few of her own?

No pictures of her at this time, all were lost on a computer that crashed a while ago, so my only pictures are across the country in photograph form.

She was in a trailer accident as a filly or young mare, and this may have attributed to her severe arthritis in her knees as an older horse. This arthritis ultimately was the cause of her euthanasia.

I bought her when she was 21? From a woman in Oregon, and had her for just a few years before she passed.

Any info anyone might have would be fantastic. She was my heart horse, and I have never been able to find any info on her, except some half siblings out of her dam.

Cheers,

Also: She was bay with star and snip, two? Socks (gosh it has been so long now :(..) and foaled around 81 if I remember correctly. Hard to recall without the papers. Woman I bought her from was Darcy Brown in Molalla, Or., and I believe her papers still had her under a Michelle something, as ownership was never officially changed in the AHA.

Hope this is helpful info. Looking forward to any pics of sire/dam or of my girl herself as a wee one.

Sorry to keep posting: Sire is Shaikh El Hafiz (AHA 119908), I misspelled it the first time. Dam is Paragon Dazl (AHA 131465)

Paragon Dazl Arabian

Her dam is heavily Crabbet bred. Just about every line goes back to Showronek or Mesaoud, both foundation stallions of the Crabbet lines.

Shaikh El Hafiz Arabian

Her sire looks fairly Egyptian to me.

Thanks! I was told she was "Pure Russian Arabian," so good to hear from a versed person.

An awesome, awesome person to consult with is Arlene Magid. Her Facebook page is https://www.facebook.com/pages/Arlen...43259189028736 and her site is http://www.arlenemagid.com. I have used her before and she gives you such an understanding of you horse, I honestly felt like I knew my horse better because of her.

She's still in Michelle's name, shows 2 foals both fillies. One by Mondial, a Bey Shah son and one by Aristo Kossak, also still in Michelle's name. She shows as Egyptian Bred, because of her sire's line. She is most assuredly not Russian, which is not a bad thing, she just was inaccurately identified by whomever you got her from.

She was indeed a bay mare and data source shows her markings as:
LOWER LIP, SNIP, STRIP, STAR, LEFT HIND LEG, RIGHT HIND LEG, LEFT FORE HOOF DARK, LEFT HIND HOOF LIGHT, RIGHT FORE HOOF DARK, RIGHT HIND HOOF LIGHT

Dreamcatcher: Thank you! Does it show what the foals' names are?
