another 'horse name' thread

Well, as mentioned in another thread, we have just bought a handsome, all be it undernourished, warmblood. His name is jarred and I really don't like it. Doesnt even roll off the tongue nicely lol

I will add a couple of pics and name suggestions would be great. I will tell you a little about him: he is a warmblood, 17ish hh, 8 years old, stubborn, pushy, yet gentle and kind in some ways, sad eyes and has such an attitude. Having said all that, his bark is worse than his bite and he is more show than anything else.

I havent got a whole lot of pics of him at the moment but I will post what I have

We have diddly squat so far for names so pretty much anything is going to sound good lol can't do much worse than the name he already has :)

lol I suck at names too don't worry :) strangely enough, but those names are kinda cool so they are going on the list in no particular order at the moment seeing as they are the only two names that have come up so far. Although, adagio sounds a bit posh for him lol even though he is a warmblood and is stunning when he is in condition, somehow I think he will never be suited to a fancy sounding name lol he's too big and slow to be graceful sounding lol

yeah I knew the name you meant. Im going to have a go at spelling it. I think its ricochet. But I can't be sure lol I still prefer the way you spelt it though :)

That rodian name gave me an idea...ronan!! I don't like ronan keating either but the name's ok :)

I do like the roman names I have to admit. Sometimes they are hard to make shortened names out of though lol gotta have a shortened/pet name for them :) keep them coming, im getting a nice list to work with :)

I was thinking:

Pulitzer (as in ' Pull, its a saddle coming :P) please excuse my sense of humour
Geronimo (this is what you say as you jump off him to avoid being thrown off, rammed into a fence or dragged under low lying trees that are impossible to miss lol I have my work cut out for me hehe)
& Buster (its a common name I know but im sure im going to bust a couple of ribs or something over the next few months lol hence why we are booked in to do the natural horsemanship thing once the flu is over. Its the guy here who does the horse whisperers classes here in oz)

So that's my pathetic attempt at names lol see why I need help :)

MR PRESIDENT would be an awesome show name :) he isnt registered I don't think, so is it too late to register him as long as I have his papers??? I know we have loads of time before I would even think about showing him but I shoot for the stars and do whatever it takes to get there :)
