Any BLM mustangs here?

I was just curious if anyone has or had a mustang. How did you find your horse and what do you like about him or her.

My very first horse was a grey BLM mustang gelding. I loved that horse he hated almost everyone but me... I could crawl all over and under him and pull on him and he was a sweetheart to me but anyone else has their troubles. My second horse was also a BLM gelding and he was super green and I deffinately was not ready for that but besides that he was an absolute sweet heart and super gentle on the ground..
All in all I LOVE mustangs if I could get another I deffinately would over any other breed :]

just a small town girl with a big town dream :]

I currently have 2. One of them is my main horse that I can do absolutely anything on. He's certainly not suitable for a beginner rider as he can be a bit reactive and is very forward but he's well behaved. My other is kind of a plug. He's just not real good at much other than plodding around. Sweet horse, just not really productive.

This is Dobe, my main guy.

And this is my plug, Koda (really old picture).

Always remember that feeling of looking at a big, open country over the ears of a good horse, seeing a new trail unwind ahead of you, and that ever-spectacular view from the top of the ridge!!! Follow my training blog: http://robertsontraining.blogspot.com/

I will have one soon! He is a 10 year old grey mustang. Love him already!
He doesn't have a brand because his mother was in foal with him when she and her herd were rounded up. Apparently his daddy was a gorgeous band stallion. (: Can't wait to bring him home!

Awww, thank you so much! :) And I know, right? He is so gorgeous and I think he has draft and Andalusian or something in him. So excited to give him a bath and get that mohawk growing out nice and long. Lol
