Any guesses on the breed of this little Mare

I got this little mare for my grand daughter last fall, she's somewhere between 2 and 4 years old, she came from a rescue out of Idaho, no real back ground on her. She is a very calm mare has very little training on her but you can sit on her and she'll stand there she'll go forward and turns well, but doesn't have a good enough stop yet. She'll go to training next month. Just wondering if anyone has a clue of what she is. Please excuse the mud on her we've had some weather lately and more on the way so she hasn't been groomed and it's too cold to give her a bath. Grand daughter is slacking...lol..

To me, she looks like a 100% pure paint. A very adorable, fluffy paint. She's quite the lovely girl!

She definitely looks paint to me as well. How tall is she?

She's adorable. And very thick! I like her!

Thanks she's cute as a button, and will make a good youth mount in a couple of years, she's so calm. She is on the thick side, at least well fed now. When she's clean she's gleaming white.

What does your grand daughter think of the mare.
And what is she going to do with her
Good luck with her

My grand daughter who is 9 loves the mare and gets on her all the time with just a halter in the small pen, this is going to be either her 4 h project or her trail horse. She has really bonded with Rex one of my Icelandic studs but she can't show him unless I geld him, and I'm sure about that yet. This little mare is just the right size and temperament for her, I'll have a better idea when she come back from the trainer on what she's going to be. My grand daughter has had 6 months of basic lessons. She can and has ridden some of my other horses but I'm worried she'll get hurt because of their size and her's she's a skinny little thing. Maybe I'm being too over protective but...

I see paint too, but I also want to say she has something else in there....last picture makes me think she is a paint cross of some kind....just can't put my finger on it.
