Any guesses as to what he may be??

This is my big ol' baby, Gerronimo. He was given to me for free, no papers, not much on his past, if he has much of a past, depending on his age, lol... I estimate his age at 5 or 6, but have gotten guesses ranging from 3 (he acts like it a lot, lol) to 10. I know who the man is that trained him when he was younger, as I have history with him as a trainer (around 6 or 7 years ago, but I know how he works- it's why we stopped doing business...) and he tends to start them and sell at 2-3, and the man who gave him to me had him for about a year...
The man who trained him breeds only QH's and paints, so, although I don't know if he actually bred Gerronimo, if he did, he's more than likely pure paint.

I've had a whole range of guesses about his breed- mustang, paint, draft, morgan, even arabian, lol, and it doesn't really matter to me what he is- he's a stunningly wonderful horse inside and out, but I like to let my imagination run wild, lol, and would love to hear what he looks like to other people!

In one of the pics his butt screams Percheron but who knows. I'm a bad breed guesser haha. But if I had to guess I'd say really light draft type maybe? I'm on my phone so the pics might not be coming up right haha

Looks like a solidly built paint to me.

The one thing that makes me think he's at the least not pure paint is his head... You can't really see it as well in the pictures, but his nose is rather large, and has the shape that I see more in drafts. My first guess when I saw him, actually, was paint/draft, lol- he was out in a pen with a huge paint draft, and they looked a lot alike, minus the fact that Gerri's 14.1, and the draft was probably 17 hands high... (he still managed to bully the draft, though, lol)

Now that's a solid, built-to-last horse! Don't look at me if he dissapears...

My guess is just a very solid paint as well. Maybe a bit pudgy though ;)

LOL, thank you, and yes, he's (quite) a bit of a glutton- we tried separating him from the other horses so he couldn't eat their food, but if he can't bust through the fence, he'll jump it (wrong order, IMO)... he thinks he's a stud, so he wants to keep his paint girls with him at all times (one's a gelding, but we don't tell him that.)

Haha, wow, don't you love the horses whose quircks you'd rather not have? I've had a couple of those, along with one that would run through a fence like nothing if it was wood, but would stay in a two string barbwire fence, explain that one!

He looks like a tubby paint, so is probably a paint with or without quarter blood.

Lol, on the bright side, his preference for wire must have been nice for your fencing budget!
You gotta love those guys- It's the quirky ones that you really get attached to... I couldn't sell him, no matter how many times he's managed to invade the hay shed (against all odds), or knocked every saddle off the hitching post...

Yeah, not seeing any draft. Looks pure, stocky, solid paint, to me.
