I'll get some more pictures of him the next time I head out to the barn. Most of the pictures of him make him look pretty goofy, but he is rather haflinger like in person. We've asked the farrier, vet, and a few other people what they think he is, and they agree. Also, my friend has a registered haflinger that looks exactly like him execpt for color.

If you can get some actual body shots it would help. I would guess probably QH cross with him? You can tell he is by the mane but it is hard to tell.

Mari, where in Ohio is your stable?

I'm in Southeastern, and was just curious. It looks like a pretty place to go for a ride. :)

I agree that he looks like he has fjord in him. Not sure about haflinger as his head really doesnt look that haffy to me.

    He's very cute though ;)

I'm in cincinnati. The barn is called Parky's Farm and it's in Springfield Township. My mom works there, and I train the ponies. It's pretty nice out there. Right next to it is a schooling stables where people can take lessons. It's pretty nice though. They've got great trails, a big jump field for cross country, a creek you can take the horses down to, etc.
