Any ideas on his breed?

This is our new horse, Big Al. He is used by the mounted division of the local sheriffs at the county fair.

Amazing disposition....had a pickup truck come up to him blarring the horn and stopped under his chin...the owner was showing us how calm he is.

Just wondering what your thoughts on his breed or combination of breeds.

Nice looking boy! I'm seeing Draft and Walker in there. I adore him!

Draft and thoroughbred is my guess.

I'm a sucker for a Bay. Toss in a little stocky and you have me, hook, line and sinker. There's Draft in that bloodline.

Hey, thanks for all the replies! I don't know if we will ever know for sure, but very interesting!

Just waiting on his delivery. Hopefully tomorrow!

I had a horse that had the same build, head & everything but he was a bay roan. My best guess for him was Warmblood/Qtr. But it will always be a mystery!

Gosh he's a looker! I used to work with our local mounted patrol and they primarily had percherons. I would agree with a draft/TB cross something or other...but beautiful! Congrats.
