My mum spoke to me today and confirmed that my horse came about becasue his mum (who is actually called Bonnie and is a TB x shire) was in the field grazing when the son of Steadhall Danillo (unnamed 2yr old) jumped in and covered her. The son is a DutchxBelgian Warmblood.
Steadhall Daniella is another mare who is out there on the eventing circuit somewere - must be related.
What I do have is a picture that the breeder sent me of my horse as a foal in a field with his brothers / sisters / other young stock. Your horse is probably on that picture too as they are the same age.
The breeder is called Carol Easter.
Aghhhh how exciting!
My brain doesnt work well enough to work out what they are to eachother but do you think they could have the same mum? Or same stallion?
Ill scan the foal pic and upload it and ill attach some other pics too!
I didnt break him in. Apparantly he was a very naughty foal but a darling to break in. However, he is sharp (not a novice ride) but means no harm - lovely fun temperament and just basically loves life!!
Ill email back asap

Smile Dan

Hi, I knew the stallion very well and worked with Carol Easter on and off for a few years. He was a lovely natured stallion and very well mannered. He was easy to deal with in and out of the stable in just a head collar, and I was most unfortunate and saddened to be the person who found him when he had passed away in his paddock. I remembered Bonnie too I saw she got mention in a post she was a lovely mare and had gorgeous big foals. I may have some pics of him somewhere and I know lots of his offspring. Dan had the most amazing uphill floating trot and seemed to be suspended in the air for a few seconds whilst trotting up. Your horse looks lovely and if is anything like Dan was you have a perfect lovely horse.

I am thinking the naughty colt would have been either Marcasite or Malachite, I remember one of them cause up a stir by jumping in with a mare.
