Any ideas what breed?

We recently got a new friend, what we were told is that he is an 8-9 year old Arab QH mix. We are thinking that was a guess based on his larger long face and that he raises his tail when he runs... Just wanting to see if others think the same thing as my wife and I.

Sorry the pictures are not that great, we adopted him from a family who couldn't afford to take care of him. So he's a bit under weight too. He is very curious and eager to learn. He had only ground work from an inexperienced young lady. In just over a week he has already been under a saddle and getting use to a bit.

I don't believe that pinto arabs or QHs are recognized in the breed registeries. I'm voting Spotted Saddle too, or perhaps TWH cross.

cute horse ! He will be a real pretty boy with some more weight. I don't know if I would call that gaited, he has an extended trot. He could be arabxqh . There are cross bred paint arabs . I think to register as 1/2 arab one parent must be registered arab. Lots of paints have quarter in them.
