Anyone an AQHA member?

I am interested in looking into something. I have a mare, her registered name is "Coosas Playgirl", she was foaled in 2001. She is a registered Paint, and her dam was a QH and sire was a Paint. So I figured she could not be registered with the AQHA since as far as I know, both parents have to be registered QH's in order to register the foal...first of all, is that correct?

Also, I just looked on allbreedpedigree.com and I clicked on the information for my mare's sire who is the Paint, and he has an AQHA registration number?? But I wonder if that was a typo and it should have said APHA, not AQHA? Is anyone an AQHA member who could look up the number for me? His name is PSR Shawnee Playboy and the number listed is 00290634.

It says the horse does not exist. I think it may be a typo.

I am not a current AQHA member, but the registration number 290634 would not be for a recent Quarter horse. I owned a 1971 AQHA mare who's registration number was 800001. AQHA has been issuing registration numbers well into the millions for awhile now.

Nope sorry horse is not registered with AQHA.
