Yeah, I guess.
I wouldn't be shipping anything out unless it was already paid for, though.

The only thing I hold against APHA is how they treat the breeding stock paints. Like second class citizens. Sometimes when you breed you don't get the splashy color and end up with a horse that would do significantly better as a QH for showing. In fact you can generally pick up a breeding stock paint for pennies on the dollar compared to their counterparts and I have know of one breeder that basically "threw away" a baby because she didn't have color.

In my humble opinion APHA needs to get their stuff straight so the people that enjoy the solid breds can do some serious showing instead of just once in a while and open shows. After all their fees aren't any cheaper to be a member anymore so they need to do for their members that pay their salaries.

Ok off the soapbox.

Seems that everything comes down to money. 90% thorobred and you are a quaarter horse!! Maybe a yellow paper quarter horse but a quarter horse you are!!

Breeders stock--paint or quarter horse??

Seems like all of these organizations have lost the desire to look out for the horse. MOney Money Money!!

Were you asking me??
I'd say AQHA because I don't personally consider APHA a breed registry anyway. It's a colour one, IMO, and even then it doesn't really know if it's coming or going.
