APHA PAC program?

Hey guys, I am leasing a SPB APHA. I am thinking he should be enrolled in the PAC program, as he tends to win! Does anyone else have any experience with this?

There is some information on the APHA website, but none pertaining to my situation, I am not the owner but I will be the one showing him, his owner rarely shows. His owner is on board with it, but she wants me to do the leg work. Which I don't mind at all. His achievements should be recognized!

So, does the owner need to be the one showing? Does an APHA membership stay with the horse, or do I need to be a member because I will be the one showing?

Thank you, but no. That doesnt clarify if anyone besides the owner can show a horse and earn credits. Bump?

"Easy to enroll and report
Although APHA membership is not required
To enroll in PAC, the horse owner must be a
Member to receive any awards you earn from the
Association. Even though you don’t have to own
The horse you compete on,
annual enrollment of
The horse in PAC is required.
Once we have your enrollment form in the
Office you may begin earning credits. You will
Receive your PAC card and a report form after
Your application is processed."

If that doesn't help, then maybe contacting them is the best way to find out.

Also as shown on the forms don't forget the show has to be n file and have PAC participation agreements w APHA. Check with the shows and ask them to submit the show forms if they aren't already approved. I know it says the horse owner has to be a member but I would call and clarify if the exhibitor must have membership as well. I'd assume they will say both So they can take the money. The PAC leaders do get nice awards that I think are on par with the honor roll level goodies! Also when you call put a bug in their ear that they need to start allowing documented leases at all levels of showing.
