Appaloosa Gelding... but what breed?

So this horse is all of 16+hh.. probably edging closer to 17hh (we haven't messured him but he's definitely big). He's got a goregous full tale and a full mane - not rat-like like some appy horses I've seen. We know there's appaloosa in this guy, but what else? Anyone have any guesses at all as to what breed of horse this guy is?

Looks like he's crossed with a Belgian draft horse to me. He is beautiful!

Looks like a draft/Appy cross of some sort. I don't know enough about draft breeds to tell you which one, though.

I could be wrong, but looks like he has some sort of draft in him. Exactly what kind, I'm not sure, but def looks draft cross to me.

All I see when I look at him is DRAFT!!! I'm thinking he's a percheron or Belgain cross.

He is handsome btw

It makes sense that he may likely have Percheron in him - he came from Auction and you can't really hold anything anyone says there for the truth, but they said he came from a farm that also had Percherons, although I have no idea if they were breeding Percherons or not.

I'd definitely vote for Belgian somewhere in there! He's gorgeous though!

I agree that there's draft in him. My personal guess would be Percheron. Probably with some QH type Appy blood as well

Throwing in another vote for Percheron or Belgian. I'd say he's at least half, possibly 3/4 draft.
