I also vote for draft cross. His conformation strikes me as Belgian, but Perch is also a possibility.

Cool! We've got two appy draft looking horses at my stable. Both are red roan, but one's got some paint thing going on too! Its nice to see more horses like this. Can't help you with the breed though, the two at the stable are unknown as well. I would upload pics., but they're not my horses. They look like brothers =) Have fun with your guy!

I have seen full blood Belgians, full blood Percherons and full blood Shire. I'd say your horse is a Percheron cross with QHxAppy. He is a handsome fellow.
