I have loved apps since a child, grew up w/ an app breeder who fueled that love. Anyhow here is the dun app mare that I have had for 3 years. Unfortunately she got bigger and stockier than I wanted. So after a lot of thought and discussion I traded her for a 2 1/2 yr old grulla appaloosa Spanish Mustang. My dun girl is back in training for her trainer to find her niche, but already has someone interested in her for a barrel prospect. The new boy is in that VERY gawky, awkward stage and it is hard to get decent pics of him. He has no concept of standing square yet.

I thought you said he was an andalusian?? (from your other post about him)
just wanted to show him off. he's a spotted Andalusian (Very Rare) were going to buy him in the next week and I'm sooooo excited. i just wanted to show him to everyone since he's very pretty and rare.

If he is an appaloosa, he is certainly uncharacteristic of the breed, with all of that hair, iberian face and knee action

I love foundation appaloosas, I've got two app mares and I'm working on picking a stud for one/both. I could go on and on, about mine and about appaloosas in general.
