My cousin had a Appendix Quarter Horse
He was handsome 16:2'' he was bay
His registered name was Royal Page but we called
Him PJ
I used to ride him sometimes and I loved how smooth he

I have done some more research and found out that their also pretty good jumpers. Is that true????

I do beach trail rides with an Appendix that is a great kids horse for trail riding but is also sometimes used at the barn for jumping lessons with either kids or adults.

I'm attaching some pictures I've taken at work. He's the bay in all the pictures. He's about 16 hands and a total sweetheart.

But just remember to keep your mind open to other breeds/crosses too. You may find one that's not an Appendix that would work perfect for you! Just try a bunch out and find a horse that you click with :)

Beautiful horses Amp!!! Thanks for the info and Im keeping my mind open for all horses. I was just curiouse about this particular breed.

I have always wanted to go swimming on horseback. But I live in Arizona, possibly one of the most driest places in the world, and theres really no water here.

We went to a private beach owned by uncle and aunts friends
We would wear our swimsuits and the horses were bareback my
One of my cousins horses did not like the water as much so I held
Him while the other two went swimming
I wish I had pictures of those horses but I don't I just have great
