I've seen appendix horses jump very high. As everybody else on this thread seems to be saying, it really depends on the horse. You might get a horse that can only go 3', 3'6" or you might get a horse who want to do 4', 4'6" you never know. If the horse is built nicely, then the possibilites are endless!

Exactly, there was a paint/welsh pony at my barn that was just under 13.2 hh and easily jumped 3'6" jumper courses. She was also a short stirrups and medium pony hunter champion. However, she was a ridiculously fabulous pony, super easy to ride as well.

Barrel racing arabian I agree. And sorrel horse im ashamed of you. My mare is a thoroughbred. She is great granddaughter of northern dancer. If you don't know him look him up. My horses bloodlines are all famous racer. Northern dancer and native dancer are both undefeated champions. My mare is my pole horse. She runs a 25 sec pole run and 17 sec barrel run. She is not professionally raced but I do race her in my riding club. She as an amazing western horse. Throughbreds were bred to run. Look up a video of nothern dancer and its part 2 watch that....
