Lol! He is wonderful, smoothest movement!!! I also have what we think is another arab/paint/percheron mare named Oreo, her and Jester are so similar with their structure. She was a rescue at an auction so we don't know anything about her! Poor girl.
I'm not positive about Bliss' breed (neither were her previous owners), but I know she is a draft cross. However, her personality, her intelligence, and her face suggest she more than likely has some Arab in her. Maybe... Belgian x Halfinger x Arab?
Here are pictures! Sorry for their enormous size. >.<
Day 1 of owning her: she didn't like getting caught very much.
She's an attention hog. Look at her pose!
A couple weeks after owning her: look at her walk right up to me!
This is our Pinto Arab/Percheron. he is 5yrs old, about 17hh (havent measured him recently)
We just got him in August, and since we was a weanling he has been kept in a pasture and taught nothing. So we are taking slow steps and teaching him as if he were a giant colt! And he was a late geld, at 4yrs of age, after siring a filly.
He is a LOVE, and is very friendly, if he does spook he snorts, backs up then comes in for a closer look, no running away, so far. We have taken him for walks around our property ( we live on a section 600+ acres,) and he is getting used to seeing everything!
