Arabians

I was just wandering how tall most of your arabians are? Just out of curiosity. And is there a way you can tell when they are young how tall they might get? Thanks!

I think the average height for arabians are 14-15 hh, both of mine are about 14hh.

They mostly stay in the 15 hands area.

Most people are like Slinkies; they serve no real purpose, but they bring a smile to your face when you push them down the stairs.
When you come to the end of your rope, tie a knot and hang on for dear life.

I am just guessing, but I have an 8 year old mare that is probably over 15.5 hhs and a 2 yr old filly that is probably right at 15 hh. My mare's half sister is 16 hh.

Generally speaking, mine are in between 14.1 and15hh.

You can base your horse's future heights by the length of their cannon bones. The longer the cannon bone, the taller the horse, and vice versa for the other way around.
The cannon bone is the same length from when a foal is born to when they mature, which is why people use it to judge heights.

However, they are a lot of factors which can affect a horse's growth rate, such as nutrition and training.

my arab is 14.3 hands. From my experience, most arabs run between 14 and 15.3 although there are exceptions. I knew a straight egyptian mare that was 16.1
