Well I LOVE Arabians :) I've been a trainer for close to 20 years and worked with many breeds, Arabians retain knowledge, which sure makes my life easier... had a paint horse in one time that was frustrating, had to re-teach him everyday before we could move on to the next lesson ! OMG !!!

I am an avid show person, guess you could say I'm addicted, I also breed show horses and will never leave Arabians... I am currently preparing my Stallion to show at Nationals :) I am so EXCITED !!!!!

This is my boy Spirit

He really is stunning, good luck for nationals!

All horses deserve, at least once in their lives, to be loved by a little girl.

My very first horse was going to be an arab. He was the most gorgeous horse and what a mover. That's the one thing I absolutely love about arabians. They are absolutely breathtaking to look at and incredible smooth rides. I have never owned and Arabian, but ridden many. One of my favorite was a gelding some friends of mine owned, bought had me trained and worked with and then re-sold. He was absolutely beautiful. Miss that horse. Always a willing worker.

Arabs are a phenomenal breed.

Speedy, those are breed-specific show halters, so unless you're showing your horse at an Arabian show, it would look out of place.

Not saying you can't use it, just saying it'll get some odd looks unless you're at an Arabian venue.

yeah, i was think of only when i took him to arabian shows, that would be the only in-hand i would do with him as he wouldnt fit in with the welsh cobs at local shows, haha! he has a very tb shaped head so it may not suit him, i shall get one anyway, for when i get my arab (yeah right, keep saving!)

Actually if you show your anglo in a breeding ( halter class ) I would do button braids and show in his/her bridle, that's how many of the HA/AA horses are shown, that is if they are over the age of 2 ;)

Aww THANK you ! This is going to be interesting, I had an injury a few months ago and can't run, I actually have herniated discs and am in alot of pain, so I will have to gather up all my strength to keep up with him for the trot in, he can REALLY move ! LOL !

Here's another pic of us in Halter, this is the "trot in" I was talking about, photo taken in March 2010
