Arabs In Action!

I grabbed some pics of my Arab mare the other night, sorry they're so dark and blurry, the weather has been just horrid lately! Anyway, post some pics of your Arabs in action!

I freaking love Arabs. I want one so bad. But I'm 5' 8", so I guess I'm too tall for one. :(

You are not too tall for an arab. I just depends on the type you get I have one that is purebreed. He is about 14.3 maby a little shorter that I ride and I am 5'4". I have a family bember that is 5'8" and she a an arab that she rode.
Here are some pictures of my arab. I love him to death. But now I have to start his traing all over again.

Not neccesarily. Most people dislike their height because they feel silly on them - really though, Arabs were designed to be rock hard. You can get some nice 15.2hh Arabs though which should be fine for your height if you really like the breed - my friend is like 5'10" and up until she bought her Clyde/TB filly she didn't own a horse over 15hh! Wouldn't do in a fancy English showring, but fine for anything else!

But I'm not super light either. I mean, I'm 140-145 and on my way to getting thinner, but I never want to cause a horse discomfort. Part of me says, dude, they're built to carry grown men, but the other part of me says I shouldn't try. =/

You will be fine as long as the horse is fit and has good confrimation. Arabs can carry more weight to size than most other breeds. Im 5ft8" 141 pounds , BOth my arabs carry me fine 13.3hh & 14.1hh .

My partner has ridden my 13.3hh mare and he is 6ft5" and 207pounds and she shows no sign of discomfort . (obviously not for long periods of time he just like to get on a plod around for 5-10 min) Although he does look pretty funny!!!

Haha, I'm 5ft 7ish, maybe taller and about 150 pounds and my girl is 14.2, maybe less (I've never sticked her but she is definitely a pony) and we look just fine together, my feet don't even dangle! =)

Here's a picture of us last year:

Here's my favorite picture of her:

Gotta love it when a white horse is shiny! =D

And in case you're still skeptical about how tall I am in comparison to her:

Gotta love it! =)
