He is very pretty, I thought about looking at him, but didn't get the money together in time.

    Good Luck!

P.S. When he gets home, there better be pictures.
I never saw the "other" ad, but I don't think she was trying to "scam" anyone...she is a very nice 70 year old woman that used to breed appaloosa's and was "hoping" to find someone that would leave him intact for future breeding... but she never said anything to me about "shared" ownership...I bought him outright and will decide what happens to his "male parts" at a later date.... really depends on his attitude... I have never owned an app before, so haven't looked into his bloodlines at all yet... my first horse was a sorrell stallion (grade) that was sweeter than ANY horse I have ever owned since, so I guess I will wait to see....he is only 13 mos, so I have some time to make that decision.... I bought him because he is absolutely gorgeous...I have owned sorrell's, a bay, a grey, a bucksin and paints... and was never really into apps because of the "lack" of mane and tails on them.... well, several years ago I fell in love with a beautiful leopard app that I saw run through an auction and have never forgot him.... have been just randomly searching classified ads for the past year, but they are SO HIGH PRICED with good color.... and then there he was.... GORGEOUS and reasonably priced (I think)... so I went to meet him and fell in love.... I think for a year old baby he is really nice... built like a little tank already, with alot of color and a thick mane and tail already!!! .... the ONLY PROBLEM I could find with him is that he does not pick up his feet, but at a year old, shouldn't be a problem to teach him!!!! He leads, loads, bathes, loves attention....

Well back when she used to be into it, that was normal, but in todays market, co owning a stud is a scam(and most ads on CL are scams to begin with, or in need of rescue) But for months she had him as co owner ship only, and you had to keep him a stud till he was a certain age, I don't remeber what it was though.

He seems like he will turn into a really nice horse.

Did you not end up getting this guy? His ad was back up on CL. Just wondering.

In another thread, she was saying that their mare was going gaga over him.
