We think my guy is a Tennessee Walker/QH/Arabian... He has the smoothest gaits and I think he's super pretty. But he has a strange breed.

I suppose. I've never actually seen a National Show Horse in person. I know that a lot of gaited horses I don't like, anyway, especially Tennessee Walkers. Rocket was an exception because he wasn't pure, but we had a TWH at my old barn and she was as sweet as could be, but SO ugly. She had a rounded chest and hardly any muscle could build because of that, and her neck and back was really long, and for a TWH, she had a small head. I loved her and riding her was a breeze because she was a TWH, but still. Of course, for some reason I have this uncanny attraction to the look of a Hackney. xD And Morgans too, but not the sleek show ones. I like the stocky ones farmers used to use to pull plows. My favorite breed (for now) are Paints. xD

If you're not practicing, someone, somewhere is, and when you meet him, he will win.

I totally agree with you girl! I love lipid (sp?) Morgans, and the older style Quarter Horses. I guess I'm a little old fashioned for such a new age person.

Anyway, back on topic.

My friend had one that no one could ride and they were like, "Hey! Savannah! Your turn!" And I really couldn't find anything wrong with him. He rode like a breeze. He just needed a sound rider, too.
