Breeds with bumps on face

    It is a defect. I have seen this on a few horses. I had a sales horse (a Trakehner) that had bumps like this on her nose and this is what I was told by the vet (that it is a birth defect). As long as it doesn't interfere with breathing, tack, etc. then it is nothing to worry about, it's just cosmetic.

    Yeah, I thought it was a birth defect. Was just curious. It doesnt bother him at all.

    Its kinda 'neat' in a way because he does stand out. And its a convorsation starter in a way.
