So I read a long time ago when I first got into horses about Budenny's and now i'm irritated because I really fell in love with the breed but no matter how hard I try I can't find anymore info on them other than what I have. Garsh and what to you know just my luck there aren't much of any in the USA  why me? I have only found a couple in europe is this a breed that is practically extinct? I'll be so sad if it is...

Here's a pic...

Anybody on here know anything about them? Or where you can find them at?

Cool horse, looks like you have to go to Russia to get one though :(

No they are not extinct, they actually are a farely new breed from 1949. Like Vidaloco said your best bet is to get them from Russia, since that is where they originate. They are a really cool breed that is similar to the thoroughbred. I have looked at some horse sites like horsetopia and they don't even offer it as a breed.

Thats cool Azazel lol if only I lived closer though

I live all the way in GA so no way I can go anytime soon.

Haha but tell her if she ever starts breeding budenny horses and selling them to tell me

Maybe I could stop by and take a look at them when I get older.

This really makes me wanna make Budenny's popular in the U.S.A.
