Can he be registered with PHBA?

I have a 3 year old QH gelding. He is of course a Palomino. My farrier shows at AQHA and PHBA halter shows and I was told if I showed him at either he could really do well, but my farrier told me at PHBA he could really clean up.

I told him he was not registered PHBA but I would look into that. Just in case I ever did want to go that route or even in the future if I sold him someone else may be interested in it.
He told me it was funny the horse was never registered with the PHBA to begin with.

I was checking out the PHBA website and I can't find ANY info ANYWHERE as to getting a horse in... any advice?

I should word this better... I read through the list of rules. Personally I HATE the idea of a color registry but if I want to show in it I have to do it... but I'm confused as to which form to use and if my horse is really eligable becuase his parents are both AQHA and neither is PHBA lol

But when looking at the reg form it asks for the Sire and Dam reg. Numbers... of what? PHBA or AQHA?

There is a spot above that to check what assoc. He is reg with... but it doesnt have anything about who the sire and dam are reg with.

And gosh these reg. Fees are getting high...

I'm thinking those are the breed association numbers, but I'm not 100% sure. I know that the parents don't have to be registered PHBA for your horse to be. I tried calling the number on the registration app, but the registration department didn't answer.
