Can I register my horse and with What association?!

My 2 yr old gelding is a appendix quarter horse.

His sire is a appendix QH/Warmblood cross and he is double registered with the AQHA and AWR
His Dam is Pure TB and is registered with the Jockey club

Can I just register him with the AAHA (american appendix horse association)?

And my other question is can I double register him and with what other associations.

Originally, since your horse's sire is AQHA and his dam is Jockey Club, my first though is that he should qualify for AQHA as an appendix. However, since the sire is an appendix himself, I'm not sure. Frankly I didn't think that having warmblood would qualify the sire as an appendix, I thought that the designation was only for TB x.

I've never heard of AAHA - sounds like a vanity registration.

His sire has both TB and warmblood in him but I would say more TB.

So I'm confused what do I have to have to register him. Im looking on the website and its asking for signatures of the sire/dam owners Is that absolutely necessary?

Unless the AQHA guidelines have recently changed your horse is not elegible for registration. As far as I know AQHA does not recognize half WB crosses. I may be incorrect because I haven't checked in the last few months. If your horse is a gelding and you are not showing him registration is unimportant. As long as you love your horse, he's perfect.

Thanks I actually e-mailed his sires owner and she said that I would have to have him DNA tested and have his mother listed with the AQHA because she's a TB and a bunch of nonsense which will cost me around $1000 because he's over 2 yrs old.
So i'm not planing on showing him in anything serious just local shows for fun so I'm not to worried about it.

Thanks
