Colors...

So there are two horses at my camp that I've always wondered about because they have pretty much exactly the same markings, only in slightly different colors. They also are very similar in body type but their heads are way different and one is around 20ish years old and the other is only 6ish.

Do you think they could have had the same parents..or something? Ever seen this before? What do you think?

Sorry for the bad pictures, they were inside the barn and I didn't want to mess with them and bring them outside.

Maybe those types of markings are just really common?

Probably just a fluke.

Those are common areas for spots in Tobianos...

Those are pretty common placement markings for Tobiano Paint horses...what get's me wondering, though, is their brands...they have a number on the same side of their flank; which means they certainly could have come from the same breeder, or ranch...maybe not the same parents, but they could have come from the same ranch.

The outfitter they're both owned by brands and numbers all the horses they intend on keeping so they both have a number and a brand that's a "c" over an "m". =)

Interesting about the markings though. Thanks for enlightening me!
