Over the past 35 years or so, I've had several different breeds, cross-breeds and a couple that were mixed from who knows what. A few were registered and came with the papers....but most weren't.
I don't breed, show or compete in any sort of sanctioned competition, so for my personal uses, it don't matter if they're papered or not.
When you get down to it, I only got three requirements in a horse.
It's gotta be healthy, it's gotta have some size and it has to like people. Being "Papered" aint got nothing to do with any of them three things.
That being the case, I certainly wouldn't pay extra for one that was.
But that's just me.
