Curious about pedigree

Purely out of curiosity, what do you all think of Cruiser's pedigree? I am so much more used to looking at Warmbloods and Thoroughbreds, I have no clue who the good Paints and Quarter Horses are and what lines are bred for what purposes.

Here's his pedigree:
Bellavista Patriot

Any good horses, horses that carry known soundness issues, anything!

I don't know a lot about QH lines.

One thing I did notice is that a ways back goes to Impressive, the original HYPP horse.

Yes, but Impressive is sooooo far back you would be the unluckiest person in the world to have an hypp n/h horse. Just goes to show Impressive is in pretty much everything QH/Paint.

A woman can NEVER have too many horses.....

You have lots of great foundation QH in the past breeding. Look for names like Peppy, Bars, Eyed Jack (Two Eyed Jack etc). On your Impressive side though you have some breeding that was closely related and have a set of parents that were both out of the same mother. But that's 4 back and from 1970 so I don't think its such an issue now. But that's the kind of thing that got Impressive horses into trouble. But overall, a nice mix of foundation stock. I grew up in Texas with lots of background in QHs and Paints and most of that was in the late 80s early 90s.
