Do virtually ALL Quarter horses have TB in their pedigrees?

I was dabbling around on that allpedigrees website, and I noticed how many QH's had a TB. Or two. Or three. In their pedigrees somewhere back. I know Three Bars was a TB and pretty influential to the breed, but this isn't him I'm talking about. I'm wondering...do virtually ALL QH's have TB in them?

Just about all of them have some TB in them. Many of the foundation sires actually come from unkown breeding. But if you go way back in the pedigrees you'll run across not only TB blood but also Arabian, Morgan, and even Standardbred.

    Short answer yes.

Slightly longer answer, most "purebred" qhs are purebred mutts coming from TBs and other breeds. Founding sires were from many different breeds, some even grade.

The answer is longer and more detailed the longer the more research you want to do on it.

Yes, QH were created from TB and other breeds. Plus since QH can have TB breeding and still be registered QH, they are crossed alot
