Does anyone have any idea as to what breed this rescue colt is?

Hi there,

Attached is my rescue colt Louka. They didn't know very much about him except that he hadnt been handled at all and was very underweight.
We think he is just over a year old.
Also, does he look a little small for his age?

Thanks for your help guys! :)

Doesn't look small, no. He looks to me to be a Standardbred cross maybe

You two look so cute together! =]
I have no idea what type of horse he could be.. it does look like a standardbred a little.. I keep wanting to think hes got a little bit of quarter horse in him for some reason.

Im going to guess at either hes got some quarter in him..or I really wanna say he looks like a rocky mountain. The coloring of his mane and the shape of his face..but I could be wrong..and if he is rocky mountain, or part one, his size for his age is fine as rocky mountains are not very big horses to begin with.

Thank you! :)
Yes I have been told that he looks like a quarter horse but now that I think about it, he does look like a standardbred!

Any opinions or thoughts are greatly appreciated as it is so hard to tell with a rescue & now my opinion is very biased.

I just cannot tell how big he is going to be!
