Does he look like Doc Bar to you?

I just got this colt roughly 3 weeks ago, I posted in the conformation area to get critiques, anywho! One of my friends says he looks a lot like doc bar (not in color obviously) but I was curious if anyone else saw that too? He's only 19 months old, but what is your opinion?

Your friend is just blowing hot air.

First, the colt is 19 months old, he looks like a colt...nothing more, nothing less.

Second, there may be a million horses out there that have the exact same conformation as Doc Bar, but your guy isn't one of them. His head is coarser, his shoulder is straighter, his croup is steeper, and his neck is shorter.

IMHO, you should love your guy for what he is, not who he may or may not slightly resemble.

Always remember that feeling of looking at a big, open country over the ears of a good horse, seeing a new trail unwind ahead of you, and that ever-spectacular view from the top of the ridge!!! Follow my training blog: http://robertsontraining.blogspot.com/

If I HAD to pick a legend that he looks like, I'd say King but I really don't care who he looks like, to me he looks like him and that's all that matters :).

Well, I just bought him and we have to register him unfortunately :/ so he's becoming a pretty expensive venture. Anyways, his first choice for registered name is ImpressiveKing Olena (not my favorite but we voted haha) and second is Chickolena Peponita (My favorite) haha so hopefully he gets one of the two. His barn name is chet (as in the goofy reindeer from santa clause 2) lol. But until I get the paperwork back I don't know which name we got :)

I already put it in all breed b/c you can edit the name later :)
