    I agree with the general consensus, that your mare does look like she is pure blooded Arabian. Arabians tend to have a lot of energy, but are good level headed horses. They aren't the "hot heads" most non-Arabian people believe they are. Ours are generally laid back, but don't let that fool you. The can get amped up when they are in the mood. I have to admit, their prancy gait can make them FEEL like they are gaited, but they most definitely are not.

    Yup, looks purebred to me. The Arab I had as a kid was super level-headed and a bulldozer through dense brush. My sister's Arab was one of those that gives the breed its reputation. Spooked at everything and wouldn't get her precious hooves dirty.
