Does anyone here have one, ridden one, known one? I really like them and am trying to learn about them. They're on the list of "breeds I'd love to own someday" ;)

I have recently discovered the Fell Pony and have really fallen in love with the breed. I started a thread about them a couple weeks ago if you want to see what others have said about them so far.

    Fell Ponies

I was just getting ready to post in there again. I have been in contact with several breeders and chair people of the Fell Pony Society of North America. They have given me a lot of great information about Fell Ponies. I haven't had the pleasure to meet one in person yet, but I've pretty much decided already that they are my dream breed. I definitely want one... or maybe ten .

There like mini friesians! I have rode one in scotland once. I rode around the Loch ness with him. Sweet little thing. (He seemed huge to me at the time)

I am determined to get one someday. I want to breed horses/ponies once I get my own place and I would love to breed fells. That's going to be a few years from now though.
