Foundation Appaloosa?

I've been surfing Google this morning trying to find some really nice appaloosas. Unfortunately it seems quite common to find this Quarter horse looking thing covered in spots. That is not what I'm looking for. Its not that there is anything wrong with a QH, I just don't want one.

I found a few pictures of some really nice apps. Old OLD pictures. I'm having a hard time finding present day breeders who do a good job of breeding Appaloosas. I may just not be looking hard enough. I found some pictures of ones are think a nice looking, or wouldn't mind in my back yard

I'm sure some of them have some QH, which okay, as long as that is not all they have.

I'm open to anything as long as the put together nicely! I put pictures on in a different reply.

I breed foundation apps and know many breeders throughout the country. I'd be more than happy to help you out.

If only you weren't 1600 miles away... we have a very nice foundation mare for adoption and she is well trained, proven breeder, and branded. We haven't done much research on her brand though. But she is a great all around horse. Placed 4th in her very first show. She only did one class and it was an in-hand trail class. She is GREAT on the trail. Very pretty too.

Just found these breeders... Oh by the way does anyone know a good way to find the registered name of a horse that you know was registered but has no papers? Im asking because I had an Appy mare that I've been searching the history on for 5-6 years now and havent come up with anything... I know her previous owner but he got her at auction...

Pretty much no way to find out the registered name of a horse... even with photos etc.
