Frisian Crosses?

I was hoping someone could enlighten me on these horses. I am not of the opinion that someone should not cross horse breeds... But it seems to me a lot of these crosses are popping up for sale. It seems a lot of people with a Frisian stallion will breed it to all of their mares and try to sell them for a grip. Frisians are beautiful horses, but the resulting foal hardly ever looks like anything spectacular to me. I also have a hard time buying into the theory that a cross will be good at something just because it is a certain cross. From what I know about genetics, it takes quite some time before something breeds true. I guess my question is, are these people just playing on people's love affair with the beautiful black Frisian? I am not saying all Frisian X foals are silly looking and worthless mind you, just confused as to why someone thinks they are worth a lot in-utero... or even as weanling and yearlings with no training. Also, I want to point out that spell check wanted me to take the E out of Friesian. I no longer know which way is right, LOL.

According the lady at my barn who owns a two year old Fresian Andalusian cross, the Fresians have digestive issues and hoof issues.... so crossing them to something hardier is better....

i say people are in love with black long maned horses....haha kind of like a lady in texas who thought halflingers were about to take over the dressage world and was breeding squillions of the things...cute but not as olympic quality athleltes

fresians dont have great canters, they are bred as carriage horses orignally, so ud want a cross from sowmthing that could canter if you were breeding for riding..
