The first one looked like he needed a little convincing that he "wanted" to go, but sure showed some heart. The second one-are you sure that was a full blooded halflinger, it was kinda tall.

Both were fun to watch :)

They're called Edelblut-Haflinger. Outcrossed to Arabians, but very low percentage.
I remember well when they used the first Arabs, created beautiful horses who lost the laid-back-ness and cool of the original. So it was decided to go back to the original regulations. But some breeders kept going anyway, crossing back to the original.
Those two examples are what came out of that. Although I really like the original, the edelblut is very appealing also

In Europe are a few Haflinger who compete in NRHA shows against Quarters and win.

Maybe because it's a German website
But most of the results posted for each horse are English
