I don't have a better pic on this computer I will have to upload another from a different computer. This pic makes her look short and squaty.

The story from the lady we received them both from had them for 3 years. She had bought them from a ranch in NC After she trailered her to her home in Fl. Had come to find out she was preg. And she contacted the ranch in NC they wanted her back. It became a bit of a fight.

Basically all I can say is that she was presented at birth ( shortly after) branded which simply means she as papers. She would have had to be presented later to get the neck brand. Now I am not totally familiar with the branding procedures beyond the hip branding but the neck brand would have her year of birth and a few numbers from her UELN. This number ( the UELN) is traceable.

IF she came from Germany then you will have to contact the German Society.

IF however she was actually foaled in NA ( and this is a very real possibility) then you would have to contact the AHS.

The closest line she looks like is the "G" line of which many looked a little coarse back then.

Just a note...if the ranch branded her on the neck as many ranches do then you will have a tough time finding out anything about her.

This brand looks pretty old it was very hard to tell what numbers it was. The NC ranch was a small poduk place I believe they was using her as a brood mare. Not sure but my best guess. Who ever Imported her here had put alot of money in her she is highly trained and she is so light on her feet she floats.

So would that mean that she was born march 88?

From here it would be very difficult to find out any more. If you know someone that speaks German maybe they can write to the German Verdband.

Born in 88 is a possibility.
